Future Business Leaders of America, or FBLA for short, is a very interactive and competitive club at the Mount Union Area High School. I know a lot of people think it is just presentations, wearing professional business attire, and coming to meetings just for ice cream but there is a lot more to it.
We do all sorts of fun activities throughout the year. There are times during the year when we have small parties and get togethers. There are also many community service opportunities. Past examples include Ghosts and Goblins at Lincoln Caverns, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army, and most importantly, we now do monthly food drives to help local food banks for our community service project.
FBLA also does competitive events at the regional, state, and national level. These events range from tests, such as Accounting, Digital Technology, Financial Services, and many more. Members can also compete in presentation events, such as Public Speaking, Graphic Design, and Future Business Educator and many more.
