FBLA is doing a year-round food drive for their community service project this year. They will be helping local food banks be able to provide food for people in need. Many families in the Huntingdon County area rely on local food banks, and FBLA wants to help as much as they can.
FBLA will be trying to feed all family members, and that includes their pets! FBLA Vice President Dorian Loner stated, “We are feeding the whole family, one step at a time!” FBLA members decided to help pets as well because if people in the household are hungry, then so are their beloved pets.
You can help in the following ways: Make donations, either food or monetary, share any posts made on the Mount Union FBLA Facebook and Instagram pages, and attend events to organize and transport food donation. FBLA President Jake Cooper stated “We aren’t asking for much, we just want to help those in need. Any support you can provide is appreciated.”
