The Mount Union Area School District is accepting Internal Applications for the following new position for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year:

Assignment: Junior High School/Senior High School

Reports to: JHS/SHS Principal

Schedule: Not to exceed 3 to 4 periods per day

Work Days/Stipend:  Pending MUAEA MOU

Administrative coursework and/or experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
The Dean of Students at Mount Union Area High School will serve in a quasiadministrative capacity and will assume the following responsibilities:

1. Dean of Students will serve as a partner with the principal in organizing
and managing the operations of the school.

2. He/she is expected to provide input on policy and procedural matters
affecting the school and/or working conditions.

3. Assists in disciplinary procedures including searches, investigations,
review of camera footage, and dispensation of disciplinary action under the
direction of the principal.

4. Assist with Cafeteria Duty as teaching schedule permits.

5. Provides supervision during the morning arrival and afternoon dismissal

of students. This includes supervision of students, parents, bus and car
traffic.

6. Provide building coverage when the principal is out.

7. Any further responsibilities as determined by the principal
